Arts Capacity Development Funding Scheme (ACDFS)

The ACDFS is designed and implemented by the Advisory Committee on Arts Development for the purpose of strengthening the cultural software and building the capacity of the arts sector of Hong Kong. The ACDFS calls for applications on an annual basis and provides funding support to innovative and impactful proposals that contribute to the objectives of:

• capacity development of arts practitioners, arts groups, art forms and/or the arts sector
• programme/content development
• audience building
• arts education

The ACDFS looks for proposals of a large scale and/or with a long time frame with a view to creating a greater impact on the local arts scene and on various professions, sectors and communities in Hong Kong. Funded projects would cover various art categories and practices, including performing arts, visual arts, media arts, multi-disciplinary arts, community arts and arts education/appreciation/promotion, etc. The scheme also seeks to cultivate a supportive culture for the arts in the community and to foster a tripartite partnership involving the Government, arts groups and the private sector to promote arts and cultural development in Hong Kong.

Call for Applications. Closing date is 20 January 2026 (Tuesday) 6pm.

• Please read carefully the Guide to Application and Frequently Asked Questions before making your application.
• The applicant shall submit only one application only.
• The successful applicant must be a legal entity capable of entering into Funding Agreement with the Government. For applicant where documentary proof pertaining to the legal status as required and specified in Paragraph 4.6 of the Guide to Application is not available at the time of application, such documentary proof must be provided to the Secretariat of ACDFS before signing the Funding Agreement.
• Application submitted in the name of individuals will not be accepted.

Briefing Session of the 15^th Round Funding Exercise

Interested artists/arts groups are encouraged to join the following briefing session to prepare for their applications. Representatives of the Advisory Committee on Arts Development and successful applicants in previous rounds will attend to share their experience. Arrangements as follows:

Date/Time	17 December 2025 (Wednesday) 11am
Venue	The Turns, East Kowloon Cultural Centre

The briefing will run for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes and will be conducted in Cantonese.
Seats are limited, please send the completed Registration Form to acdfs@cstb.gov.hk on or before 12 December 2025 (Friday).
Registered participants will receive a confirmation email.
